Janod is a French brand specialising in the creation of traditional toys and games from wood and cardboard.
The Janod Essentials range has been co-developed with a pre-school specialist following the trend of STEM learning, to introduce educational concepts in a simple and fun way, making them a great resource not only at home, but for kindergartens, child care centres and schools as well. Several products in the range are aged from the age of 18 months which means even the littlies are developing a great head start!
Essentials Weights is fundamental learning at it's best. Aged from 3 and up, it allows the comparison of different weights and how that affects balance with simple maths concepts to promote logical thinking and problem solving. The 16 magnetic blocks are all water-painted and made from beech wood while the magnets in the balancing base create stability and ease of use for little hands.
