Combined with the airnest system of breathable, washable bedding layers, the airnest sleep system reduces many of the risk factors associated with SIDS and poor infant health.

Our airnest Mattresses are suitable right up to when an infant moves into a bed.
The mattress weight restriction is around 100kgs, so there is no trouble.
Many adults sleep on a similar product, so it is more than comfortable for any age.

The airnest Merino Protector is designed to fit seamlessly with the airnest mattress, and will also fit many other standard-sized cot mattresses.

Quilted merino forms the perfect protector layer for your baby's cot, efficiently absorbing spills in the night, while remaining exceptionally odour-resistant and breathable - so both you and baby can rest easy.

Features: 

• Provides a deluxe layer of comfort through both its plush feel, and its moisture-wicking ability; drawing moisture away from your baby so it can evaporate away.
• Material: Upper fabric: 63% Merino Wool, 37% Polyester; Skirt fabric: 100% Polyester
• The merino protector is also 100% machine washable so in the event of a spill you can easily clean up without the need for special washing requirements.
• Do not bleach, do not wring, do not tumble dry, dry flat, dry cleanable
• Made in New Zealand from imported components

Handy tip:

Although it’s recommend for best performance you shouldn’t tumble dry this product, as parents that’s not always practical; tumble drying shouldn’t ruin the protector, but you can expect some pilling and shrinkage to occur. We also recommend using a delicate washing powder/liquid.

Using similar breathable, washable materials as the airnest mattress, the airnest pod is a portable, multi-use nest for baby to play, cuddle, or rest away from their cot.

The removable and adjustable shade hood and canvas base make the airnest pod perfect for indoor or outdoor use, and the convenient carry-handles and pod bag make the airnest pod easy to take with you when you go away.

• Washable – As with the other airnest products, the airnest pod is designed so the cushioned bumper and pod mattress base can be removed and washed, meaning no hassles in the event of a spill.

NB: We do not recommend the airnest pod for overnight sleeping. As there are no safety standards around nest products currently, we cannot have the airnest pod tested for this and therefore cannot recommend it is used for overnight or unsupervised sleeping. However, the pod mattress has been tested, and met the requirements for firmness*, and the side bumpers have been tested for airflow and are 100% breathable so babies can safely and comfortably sleep in the pod for supervised day naps.
