Care & Use

• To effectively clean your drink bottle remove the silicone spout and wash with warm, soapy water. We recommend a cleaning brush set to thoroughly clean through the mouthpiece. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling.

Is your insulated drink bottle is leaking?

• Your insulated drink bottle is only leak-proof when the flip lid is shut, the spout itself is not leak-proof. So, it will leak if the lid is left open and the bottle is tipped on an angle or upside down.
• If it seems to be leaking when the flip lid is shut, try closing the lid slowly so you can ensure the groove inside the lid is matching up with the spout. It’s also a good time to check your spout top (mouthpiece) has been inserted properly. Always make sure the spout is pushed through all the way until it ‘clicks’ firmly into place.

Care & Use

Is your sport spout leaking or flip lid not closing?

We recommend disassembling your drink bottle to ensure the silicone spout mouthpiece is inserted correctly. Unscrew the lid and pull on the tab on the underside to release the silicone spout from the lid. Then to reassemble, firmly push the silicone spout mouthpiece up into the lid until it ‘pops’ into place.

Please do not place our sport spout bottles in the freezer (they are happiest between 0 and 90 degrees Celsius)

Cleaning and Care:
Clean after each use. We strongly recommend cleaning and sterilising your Haakaa silicone products with any steam sterilising system or by boiling in water for 2-3 minutes. Do not use any bleach-based agents or sterilising tablets to clean this product. Do not use UV sterilisers to clean this product as it may impact the product's lifespan.

Caution: Check product condition regularly. Replace if this product shows any signs of damage. Do not store near any sharp objects. Only soft bristle brushes or soft sponges should be used to clean this product as hard scourers may scratch the surface. Exposure to detergent may make the silicone in this product appear cloudy. This product is not a toy. Do not use this product for anything other than its intended use. Store product in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight. Adult supervision is required.
